Built in 2017, Monkeys Resort is a luxuriously appointed Telo island resort offering absolute beachfront accommodation in a private, modern, spacious, air-conditioned bungalow with an ensuite bathroom. We are set on acreage with plenty of options to relax in our quiet, secluded setting or enjoy a rowdy game of table tennis with our very competitive staff! Great quality WiFi enables work if necessary and our bungalows are equipped with universal plugs for your convenience

Our house wave Monkeys is just 900m away. You can check the conditions from your front decking. With another 12 breaks in close proximity, you are spoilt for wave choice. Gone are the days of spending the entire day in the boat hunting waves, it is all at your fingertips. With waves to cater for all abilities, we offer the ultimate surf escape. All transfers to waves are included on the packages

Overview of the region

The Telo Islands are located approximately 250 km off the Sumatran Coast, nestled between Nias and the Mentawai Islands, north of the island Siberut. Monkeys Resort is accessed via an overnight cruise or speedboat ride from the port city of Padang.

We have banned all single-use plastic drink bottles at our Resort, so please bring a refillable bottle with you.
